The red wine Zweigelt Granit, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Kurt Angerer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lower Austria in Austria.
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate watery rim. There are lovely aroma nuances of fine oak, a hint of vanilla, nougat, and fine black berry fruit, it is an attractive bouquet. On the palate it is powerful, taut, chocolaty, with supporting tannins, some minerality, and a black cherry note on the finish. It will benefit from bottle ageing.
