The sweet and dessert wine Hallgarten Jungfer Riesling Spätlese, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Kurt Bug has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
On the nose there are aromas of apricot, some maple cordial, ripe mango, and candied orange peel. It is not a viscous and dense late harvest wine, and it develops smoothly on the palate, accompanied by a vivid acidity. Not too complex, it has a nice flow, and it is delicious on its own, as well as with dessert and terrine.
