The white wine »Unikat Altenberg 1172« Eibelstadt Mönchsleite Silvaner trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Leininger has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Coffee beans, a hint of mocha and coconut from the wood maturation, followed by ripe pear and quince. Franconian dry on the palate, with a slight extract sweetness, some ripe apricot, a little sea buckthorn and lots of savouriness. Still somewhat influenced by the wood maturation, still young.
