The white wine »Handwerk Reserve« Eibelstadt Silvaner trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Leininger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Interesting nose with initially smoky notes, which then turn into a hoppy herbal note. Ripe on the palate with dense fruit, pear, spicy mustard, quite complex with increasing air. Will even benefit from further bottle ageing.
