Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle watery rim. Dark berry confit, herbal savouriness, a pleasant balsamic note, distinct toasty aromas, background hints of caramel, bergamot and liquorice. Powerful on the palate, juicy, ripe sweet cherries, vivid supporting tannins, good acidic structure with hints of nougat and saline-mineral notes on the finish. Will benefit from further bottle ageing.
