Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a broad rim brightening. Ripe black cherries, fine blackberry jam, subtle herbal savouriness and tobacco notes, all underlaid by a dark minerality. Juicy and balanced on the palate, with ripe, round cherry fruit, supported by integrated tannins. There's a mineral and fresh edge to the delicately salty finish, with sweet figs in the finale. Good length, this has certain ageing potential.
