Medium carmine-garnet colour with ochre reflections and broad rim brightening. Delicately floral aromas of candied violets and nuances of liquorice underlaid with some nougat caramel. Opens up well with air. Juicy palate with red cherry and ripe tannins. Mineral-salty on the finish with a delicately leafy aftertaste. A food companion with freshness and good length.
