Tasting Notes
It has a very dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate ochre rim. There are aroma nuances of cassis and liquorice, discreet fine oak spiciness, some nougat, and orange zest in the background. It is complex, with juicy fruit, sweet plum, supporting integrated tannins, and a chocolaty touch on the finish. It is very youthful, with nice minerality and persistence. It has not yet reached its full maturity for enjoyment, and has certain further ageing potential.
