The spumante Cato Metodo Classico Brut VSQ, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Mauslocherhof has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Goldmuskateller from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a slight cloudiness and persistent mousse. Fragrant and expressive on the nose, with banana mousse and apricots, yellow roses and a hint of pineapple, with a freshly cut grass finish. Very fruity and aromatic on the palate, full-bodied, with plenty of body and a mouth-filling finish.
