The white wine Steillage Reifenstein Weißburgunder Pur, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Meier Schmidt has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
This is light golden in colour. There are aromas of candied peach, new oak, coconut, bitter herbs, pepper and lavender. It is exceptionally creamy on the palate, and at the same time strongly barrel-influenced, with a ripe but sufficiently firm acidity, and an opulent structure in its first stage of maturity. It still has further reserves of extract.
