The white wine »Pur« Sommerhausen Steinbach Scheurebe trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Meier Schmidt has been rated in 2018 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Franconia in Germany.
Grapefruit, but above all a lot of smoky shell limestone. Subtle sweetness at the start, mild flow, finely underpinned by nerves, has a fine roundness and appears accessible, does not exploit the spiciness of the variety to the extreme, remains rather filigree.
