The red wine Walporzheim Kräuterberg, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Meyer-Näkel has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
"Warm" and with dark-berry aromas, it is fruity, savoury, vivid. With cherry, clove, subtle oak, it is very creamy on the palate, with concentrated acidity and fine-grained, even silky, dense tannins. It has a very homogeneous flow, with elegance, mineral colouring and very good length. Wonderful balance.
