Tasting Notes
Barrel 9 20 Dernau Hardtberg Found by fellow winemaker Marc Adeneuer in Ahrweiler opposite his winery in a parking lot. On the nose, still quite closed but intense, with notes of fresh fruit, wild blueberry, sour cherry and green tea. On the palate, the wine has a certain sparseness, grainy, taut, almost somewhat abrupt, a positive astringency, chewy with discreet acidity, intensely mineral, although a little less minerality than barrel 3. Full of ageing potential.
