Barrel 2 2020 Dernau Pfarrwingert, found directly in front of the building. On the nose, resinous notes, "wild", juniper and smoky tones. Quite coarse and grainy tannins, juicy yet at the same time dense and rather broad on a supple base with lively acidity and plenty of minerality. Seems more closed than barrel 1, but exerts powerful drive and has great ageing potential. .
