The white wine Grauer Burgunder Laumersheim trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Mussler has been rated in 2018 by Ursula Haslauer, Ulrich Sauter, Michelle Bahro, Katja Klohr, Markus Wöhrle with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
It has some oak character, although its varietal aromas are still closed. On the palate it is a powerful wine, with substance and creaminess, it is aromatically nuanced and long lasting, and the sweetness is balanced perfectly with the body. It is old school, but done very skillfully in an old fashioned style in the best sense of the term.
