The red wine B52 Spätburgunder Heimersheimer Burggarten GG, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Nelles has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
On the nose herbal savoury aromas, it is ethereal, with just a little berry fruit, and is almost entirely on the spicy side of the aromatic spectrum. Almost floatingly light-bodied on the palate, with a mineral foundation, a fine thread of acidity, and a good amount of supportive tannins in carefully chosen quantities. It is a Pinot aimed entirely at delicacy with a juicy, finely spicy finish.
