Dark garnet, deep core of colour, broad ochre rim. Delicate notes of liquorice and black olive, finely spiced wild berry confit, some dark nougat. Juicy, elegant, fine chocolate touch, ripe, round tannins, shows good freshness, tobacco nuances on the finish, has held up surprisingly well, a multi-faceted food companion, floral touch in the aftertaste.
