Somewhat closed on the nose, savoury and smoky, apple, apricot, bay leaf, some allspice, aniseed and chamomile. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate with good extract, supporting acidity and supporting phenolics, powerful with mineral expression and good length. Lots of wine.
