The nose reveals berryish notes of Burgundy, some candy sugar and, with air contact, the aroma of a ripe Charentais melon. The palate opens supple, then leads into a full-bodied, hearty structure, sweetness and acidity are well balanced, while the finish gets its length mainly from its substance.
