The red wine »Alte Reben« trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Weingut Pflüger has been rated in 2015 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Dark color and a wild, almost animal-like spiciness. Full-bodied and present on the palate, with crumbly but dense tannins, supporting acidity, a mineral base and dark berry fruit on the finish. An exciting wine, authentic but also idiosyncratic.
