Tasting Notes
It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is an intense fine oak spiciness, as well as a hint of nougat, some liquorice and orange zest, and with black berry confit on the finish. On the palate it is juicy and elegant, with a pronounced fruit texture, fine well-integrated tannins, and a chocolaty touch on the finish. It is a full-bodied food wine with certain ageing potential.
