Tasting from 01.06.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Still yeasty on the nose, but the varietal spice with menthol and almost animalistic notes is making its way behind it. Subtle new oak, caramel. The tannins are grainy and fresh, with good phenolic ripeness, quite exciting and built for the future. The ripe acidity and the robust body seem to be of one piece. A full-bodied, dense and harmoniously balanced wine at the beginning of its life.
