Tasting Notes
Day one: a spicy Rheingau nose with notes of candied lemon, lemon balm, rosemary blossom, jasmin blossom and a hint of honey. On the palate, a pithy, taut acidity meets a silky sweetness, the wine's powerful substance is seamlessly integrated into the beginning of the ripe structure, which strives for roundness. Very good fruity, savoury length. Day two: Intensely herbal with iodine-stony undertones. Oyster shell. Smooth, round, silky sweetness on the palate, all components seem to smooth into each other, the acidity is also seamlessly integrated. Day three: again more iodine in the nose, "electric" aromas, but also caramel and very ripe yellow fruit. Very silky and round on the palate, textured, sweetness and acidity are close together, delicate wine with very good length.
