The white wine »C« Weißer Burgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Reinhold und Cornelia Schneider has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Stone fruit flanked by pear, bay leaf, fine smoke and apple on the nose - Kaiserstuhl in the glass, an intense and yet delicately put together nose. Tightly woven on the palate, it's full-bodied yet remains elegant with the core of pear and fresh melon fruit sensitively put together and allied to mineral-defined power. Will last a long time, a traditional Kaiserstuhl style that still could not be more current.
