The white wine »trio« Weißer Burgunder Spätlese trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Reinhold und Cornelia Schneider has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Quite complex on the nose: on the one hand buttery, but also exhibiting aromas of fried polenta, apple, cardamom, lemon zest and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine has a lot of juiciness, with firm but fine acidity, a subtle minerality in the background, and an elegant, not too dry finish.
