The white wine Grauer Burgunder Bio, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Riffel has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Peppery on the nose, yeast, peach, almost Riesling-like, but with aeration also blueberry and an increasingly pronounced Pinot note. Juicy on the palate, finely nerved, medium-bodied and extracted, clearly mineral tinged, a hint of sweetness gives accessibility, a type of Everybody's Darling with style.
