The white wine »Herdstein« Sylvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Rinck has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Herbal and spicy nose with intense floral notes, some hop blossom, smoke, apple peel, ripe apple and pear. Fresh on the palate with lively acidity, also some carbon dioxide, dry finish, savoury, developing minerality, good ageing potential. Still youthful.
