Tasting Notes
Intense toasty aroma, yeasty, batonnage and wood, plus spontaneous fermentation spiciness. Well incorporated on the palate, a relatively short, dominating soft part on the palate, then densely textured, light green tones are accepted, and tend to give freshness than disturb. A completely Burgundian style, slightly tart Pinot Blanc with great ageing potential.
More about the tastingRoasted wood and a savoury note such as hops and rye sourdough. Taut on the palate, striking acidity, more full-bodied than buffered by alcohol, a great arc of tension that also lasts a long time. Needs a little more time to relax and refine.
