The white wine »R« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Rudolf Fürst has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Franconia in Germany.
A complex aromatic nose with some reductive notes; smoke, a hint of pear, salted lemon and wet limestone. Complex on the palate as well, with a fabulous vein of acidity, considerable substance and a firmly built texture. Besides being a ‘Reserve’, the ‘R’ will also always offer concentrated minerality and finesse, as well as a faithful expression of the individual vineyard.
