The White Wine »R« Weißer Burgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Rudolf Fürst has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Lemon yellow in colour. The nose is slightly smoky, with a mixture of lemon zest, young peaches, grapefruit and young almond as well as lemongrass. On the palate similarly there's a melange of citrus and a striking acidity - the texture feels so dense, and yet so elegant. The finish is clean, clear, long and mineral. A great Pinot Blanc.
