Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening at the rim. Bitter chocolate underneath blackberry confit, some oak spice, ripe prune. Juicy, elegant, velvety tannin, tobacco on the finish, taut, blackberry on the aftertaste, long length, good ageing potential.
