The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC Reserve Ried Lüss Sacris, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Salzl – Seewinkelhof has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening at the rim. Bitter chocolate underneath blackberry confit, some oak spice, ripe prune. Juicy, elegant, velvety tannin, tobacco on the finish, taut, blackberry on the aftertaste, long length, good ageing potential.
