Dark ruby in colour with, purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. On the nose, aromas of dark berry fruit, subtle hints of liquorice, underpinned with fine precious oak spice and nougat. The palate is powerful, with firm tannins, ripe cranberry fruit, and a chocolaty finish, mineral and persistent, will benefit from bottle ageing.
