The red wine »Cardinalis« Flörsheim-Dalsheim Spätburgunder im Barrique gereift trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Schales has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Black cherry and dark chocolate on the nose, subtle wood influence. Full-bodied in the mouth, broad, lively acidity, a muscle pack, very concentrated and made for the long haul. Converted the warm year into substance and not alcohol!
