Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet rim. Ripe plum fruit, subtle notes of dried fruit, candied orange zest, and fine woody spice. Full-bodied, black berries, well-integrated tannins, subtle notes of dark chocolate, already approachable, mineral finish, a powerful pairing for food, should be allowed to age for a few years.
