Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, black core, violet highlights, and a delicate lightening at the rim. Sweet dark berry fruit, ripe cherries and plums, with a hint of orange zest. Complex, with toasty notes that are still somewhat dominant, dark nougat; slightly rough on the finish, will benefit from bottle aging.
