Deep ruby, opaque core, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Delicate hints of nougat and cassis, underlaid with liquorice, and smoky herbal savouriness. Juicy and sweet, dark nougat, vivid tannins, vanilla and chocolate on the finish, with some varietal character masked by the wood.
