Opaque ruby core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Black fruit underpins sweet Christmas spices off cloves and cinnamon with hints of chocolate. Powerful, sturdy palate with liquorice and concentrated black cherries, well-integrated, vivid tannins, elegant minerality and a long ripe sweet black fruit dominated finish. A highly desirable companion to food.
