On the nose, smoky with underlying notes of black fruits of the forest, hints of liquorice, ripe plum and candied orange zest. Juicy and powerful with ripe cherries, taut, well-integrated tannins, mineral notes and a touch of chocolate. Will benefit from further bottle ageing.
