The red wine The Peak of Glory, vintage 2021 from the winery Scheiblhofer The Wine has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Black forest berries with smoky undertones, light hint of liquorice, ripe plums, candied orange zest, evolves with air. Juicy, powerful, ripe cherries, firm, well-integrated tannins, mineral, chocolaty, good freshness, already accessible, certain ageing potential, a full-bodied food wine.
