The red wine »Prestige« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Scherr has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Pale purple, juicy cherries on the nose with well-integrated wood spice and also some hints of clove. Powerfully built with substance and a vivid acidity, competent use of wood, a suitable amount of fine-grained tannins, full-bodied, good length.
