The white wine »Prestige« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Scherr has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Strong golden yellow, ripe pear and melon, honey notes, popcorn, corn, the barrel ageing provides smoky aromas. Firm and powerfully structured, shows juice, texture and savouriness, some green walnut, distinctive bitter tone, the fruit unfolds smoothly, good length, still youthful.
