Assemblage aus Pinot noir, Garanoir, Diolinoir und Merlot. Aromatischer, tanninbetonter Assemblagewein, kräftige dunkelrote Färbung, intensives Volumen, im Barrique ausgebaut. Die Traubenmoste werden zuerst sortenspezifisch separat im grossen Eichenfass während 12 Monaten ausgebaut. Danach werden diese als Jungweine im optimalen Verhältnis im Barrique zusammengeführt und reifen dann während 18 Monaten zum reifen, vollmundigen Cuvée noire heran. Gut lagerfähig - durch die Lagerung gewinnt der Wein zusätzlich an Intensität

Independent aroma, very spicy, notes of cloves, allspice, plus fresh plums and dark berries. Rather slender and elegant on the palate, juicy, ripe acidity, lots of plum fruit, finishes juicy with slightly noticeable, ripe tannins. Concise juiciness in the aftertaste.
