The white wine Solaris Maischegärung halbtrocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Schloss Rattey has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Solaris from the region Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Germany.
Golden in colour. An aroma of apricot and flint, also herbal notes, and a clear botrytis and over-ripeness. The palate is taut with a relatively dry tannin, the resulting astringency (and slight bitterness) is balanced by creaminess and sweetness. The finish flavours are reminiscent of vermouth. Very distinctive.
