The white wine Auerbach Silvaner trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Schloss Schönberg has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Hessische Bergstraße in Germany.
Smoky, but fine, oak notes still dominate on the nose, yet fine pear fruit shimmers through. The oak has yet to be integrated on the palate, too, but the finest phenolics, fruit fullness and a certain delicacy are promising.
