The red wine »Edition« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Schreieck St. Martin has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Some cedar wood accompanies the dark fruit, black cherry, plum, blackberry, a slightly oxidative side note that is not distracting. Full of tension on the palate with dense, tightly woven extract and plenty of drive, the melted tannins stand like a wall, ripe, supporting acidity and mineral savouriness on the finish.
