The white wine »gottsacker« Deidesheim Herrgottsacker Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Seckinger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Declared as a regional wine but offers more. Coriander seeds, flint spark, hops, dark miso and dried lime peel on the nose; whilst the palate shows all the tension that good vin naturel should. It's citrussy, phenolic and emphatically dry. Demands patience in the cellar. Long live the break with convention.
