The sekt Silvaner brut nature, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Seyberth has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
A little animalistic on the nose, with notes of apple, blossom honey. On the palate, this shows as a more traditional "German" Sparkling wine, with a late harvest body, a rather ripe acidity and therefore quite mild despite being labelled as Brut Nature. A medium-fine mousse. Lovely with food.
