The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Siegrist has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Aromas of crocus blossom, fine, warm smoke, honeydew melon, quince, pumpkin chutney, nectarine and some smoked meat. Powerful, full-bodied "Réserve" with good extract and stable acidity and soft, elegant texture. The wine is savoury, with ripe yellow fruit, yellow plum, quince and a dry, mineral base. Good length.
