The white wine Wollmesheim Mütterle Pinot Gris VDP.Erste Lage, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Siegrist has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
In colour it is light rose hip red. Intense aroma of small red berries, pear, shows that it belongs to the Pinot family, raspberry, cherry, smoky notes, also freshly cut blueberry. Strong and firm structure on the palate, still slightly austere tannins from oak ageing blend in, substantial, juicy, tart pear, slightly spicy acid vein, with good ageing potential for further development.
