Smoky, flinty notes on the nose, fine savouriness and some caramel from the oak maturation, quince, peach, nectarine and a hint of vanilla. Relaxed on the palate with a soft, creamy texture, nutty, noticeable, grippy phenolics and a tight, refined acidity. Draws its appeal from suppleness and a clearly defined angularity.
