Slightly smoky on the nose, ripe apple, some yeast, pear, floral, a hint of orange blossom. On the palate a good structure, substance and backbone, noticeable phenolics, which also creates density, juicy, fresh, hint of limestone minerality, herbal tartness, fine liquorice.
